• Download small executable file
• Run that file and select document you need password recovered from
• Follow instructions on web page that is brought up

Now the instructions will be one of two items. It will either error out and recommend their downloadable software suite for you to purchase ($15 - $149) the higher price being for all their software in one bundle.

OR

It will give you instructions on how to pay (price varies based on document, it was $19 for an excel document I tested), along with instructions on what exactly is going to happen and their guarantees. It’s important to note that you do not have to upload the actual document to them for this service which is nice seeing as most documents that are password protected are that way due to sensitive data.
