Login Recovery
This is a great site for those people that forgot or lost your windows login password and want to recover it versus resetting it. I actually was creating a site to do this very thing, but I guess I was too slow!

The site offers free service (2 day turnaround) or priority service (sub 10 minutes). I have actually used this service (although it was with the previous owner) and it correctly recovered the passwords I had lost. Priority service will run you about $20 (US).

1 - did you change your passwords after using this service?
2 - have you been hacked, or noticed any extra spyware on your machine, since?

  3. Hi, No, the passwords weren’t changed and I wasn’t hacked. All you upload is the hash file which you can read with any text editor to see what is being sent. It’s probably a good idea to change the password however I suppose!

As for spyware, you don’t install anything so there wouldn’t be any way to get spyware installed with this service. Booting off their floppy or CD just reads the SAM database and outputs it to a file.

  10. I just paid 29.00 us Dollars for this program, worth every penny. I needed Administrators password to go beyond safemode as this my companys Laptop. I highly recommend it. ps paying for it gives you passwords immediately as opposed to waiting 48 hours.
